Why the "sliding scale"?

This is a unique type of business that is not just about profit; not only because we truly care about helping people but because we care about justice too. The objective value of money in terms of how much effort is put into earning it, is not the same for everybody in the world the way it is. At Therapy Journey, we are attempting to be reasonable in profitability while modeling negotiation with human values and not market values.

Why no insurance accepted?

Therapists who accept insurance often find themselves in situation where they actually work for your insurance company while serving you. Example: to receive more services you need to look more sick on paper. How is that helping you? We will help you in getting reimbursement from your insurance company but will not allow a bureaucrat on our Therapy Journey.
